FIRST: Exhibition

FIRST
Yesterday, Tuesday 28th February Boxhill second year jewellery students exhibited for the first time!
The title is called 'First' and as a group we all agreed with a concept, that we were showing our first year pieces and for most of us it was our first exhibition!! exciting!! :)
we used big black wooden lettering that would enhance the cabinet where we were displaying.
Its on show at the front atrium of the Whitehorse Campus Library at Boxhill Institute for approximately 3 weeks.

I have some lovely snaps.
post some more photos later.

Black and White Project |

Hey guys,
So I wanted to do a Black and White Project where ill take non-posed photos of random objects, people, landscapes etc
The original images is understood by only the artist of how it was produced. Now with the ever evolving digital world we live in pre-editing is no boundary. Changing the quality, colour, exposure, focus and size is just a few ways to producing a perfect image.
On top of that the image that is tweaked through different adjustments such as colour balance, curves and levels gives a good representation of what images could look like at their full potential. I had to be super careful when the elements are adjusted becuase they may lose features that are vital to the photograph.

Phat: Brooch

So i've been doing a little resin when I meant to be doing uni homework.
I've been having so much fun and in the creative zone I made more yesterday. I'd love to show everyone a tutorial of how-to make them but their all different. some have sequins, glass beads, plastic beads, faux pearls, shell, glitter. I guess its whatever you feel like on the day.
I really wanted ATTENTION people to notice me so I wore the one with the pearls to my cousins house with bright yello ducky earrings (which I will post later) And it was a success all the aunties were like 'wow did you make them? OH you're sooo clever' - attention= good while it lasted
I also made a series of rings from found objects - watch bands had old guess and citizen watches. been obsessssssssssssd with them (also post later)
